We are pleased to confirm that Venue 360 is very much open, albeit under the following restrictions and timeframes as set out by the govt. roadmap.

 
 

Venue 360's 

roadmap to re-opening

Key points:

  • Please visit the specific department sections below for more detailed information. Please do not attend or book before reading.
     

  • We are currently in step 3 of our roadmap
     

  • Masks are required to be worn in all areas apart from when engaged in your chosen activity
     

  • One-way systems in place to safely enter / exit 
     

  • Hand sanitiser stations throughout the building when open
     

  • Track and trace required for all areas and activities
     

  • Cashless payments only 

 

Playing sport at Venue 360 during COVID-19

updated 17/05/2021 - All the below is subject to the four tests outlined by the govt.

Please note. The following information relates to steps 3 outlined by the govt. Information regarding step 4 will be updated nearer to the time.

Bookings

  • Please check below on the potential restrictions on playing your chosen sport, before booking. 

  • Bookings are able to be made online, please click HERE to book your slots. Alternatively, book at reception or call them on Tel:01582 418873 (option 1). 

  • Please Note. Any online bookings that are not 'free' must be paid for there and then or the booking will drop off after 20mins.

  • If you have not booked online before, please contact our main reception for your booking PIN and login details.

  • Normal advance booking rules apply (pro-zone - 60 days members, 30 days non-members & all other sports - 14 days members, 7 days non-members)

  • Any unpaid bookings must be paid via reception but by card or apple pay only. We will be adopting a 'cashless' payment system for the foreseeable future.​

Step 3 - Mon 17th May to 20th June inc.

  • Please do not visit Venue 360 if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19. You must also advise this to all other participants in your booking, plus have contact details of them all, should it be required to help the NHS test and trace system

  • The 'Rule of 6' now comes into play with all indoor activities, this meaning most sports can now be played but on the condition that no more than 6 people mix in their chosen sport each week.

  • Indoor sports still have certain restrictions or cannot be played at all. The exception to this is organised sport played by U18s. Please see full details below.

Badminton, Table Tennis & Squash

  • Singles or doubles permitted. No playing with more than 6 people each week.

  • Please respect other users by social distancing when entering the facility and making your way to your chosen activity. Masks must be worn in the building apart from when you are actually playing sport.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available as you enter the main building and at various other points

Adult Tennis 

  • Outdoor tennis - Singles and doubles play. Please visit the LTA website for full playing guidance

  • Indoor tennis - Singles or doubles permitted. No playing with more than 6 people each week.

Children's tennis

  • Outdoor tennis - Singles and doubles play. Please visit the LTA website for full playing guidance

  • Indoor tennis & courses - Indoor tennis for U18s is permitted in groups, so we are delighted that our mini and junior tennis programme will continue. Parent/guardian supervision permitted (one per player, sibling spectators encouraged to not attend where possible).

 

Pro-Zones

  • Play resumes as normal. Please click HERE to read the FA Guidance on returning to play, we strongly request players or booking organisers to read this and adhere to when playing at Venue 360. Players are asked to stay at their cars until their booking start time and not enter until the previous booking has completely cleared. Bookings are requested to leave promptly to allow the next booking start. Sanitiser will be placed on the entrance gate to each pro-zone, please use on entry and exit.

  • Children's Saturday morning football sessions are fully up and running.

General

  • Anyone found not adhering to our COVID guidelines will be asked to stop playing with immediate effect and not permitted to book again for the foreseeable future.

  • Equipment hire such as badminton and tennis rackets will be available but we strongly encourage you to bring and provide your own equipment. Equipment will be sanitised every-time it is returned from hire

  • General advice is to come dressed to play and shower afterwards at home. We do however have limited showers available to ensure social distancing. Changing rooms and showers are open on the ground floor where there is more room to space yourselves out.

  • Cricket

  • Basketball (unless playing 3v3 or if approved U18 practice sessions with a coach and risk assessments in place)

  • Netball (unless playing 3v3 or if approved U18 practice sessions with a coach and risk assessments in place)

  • Volleyball (unless playing 3v3 or if approved U18 practice sessions with a coach and risk assessments in place)

It is essential that all users respect the above and stick to social distancing and government instruction.
Venue's can be closed should government guidance not be followed.

 

Visiting Lifelines Health Club during COVID-19

Step 3 - Mon 17th May to 20th June inc.

Lifelines gym open, classes re-start.

Lifelines Gym

  • Please check the current opening hours for this date period via the button​ near the top of this page

  • Please do not visit Lifelines if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19

  • New gym layout to ensure good social distancing whilst exercising
    Some equipment will have been placed elsewhere or in some cases put out of action to ensure social distancing can be maintained

  • The 'Rule of 6' now applies so you can train with others, providing no more than 6 people.

  • A temporary warm up / cool down area has been set up in our spin room

  • A one-way system has been put in place so please enter as normal but follow the two exit options when leaving

  • Swiping in is essential when attending each time, so please have your membership card with you or ask and instructor to manually record your attendance.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available as you enter the main building and via various points around the gym

  • Our opening hours are as follows, please click HERE to check times

  • No towels will be permitted to be brought into the gym but plenty of blue roll will be available to use

  • Our water fountain will be in use but only for filling up water bottles, please bring a water bottle with you

  • Please respect other members by keeping your distance and cleaning / tidying up after using equipment

  • General advice is to come dressed for your workout and then shower afterwards at home. There will however be limited showers available on the ground floor for men (to ensure social distancing) and usual showers for the ladies, with plenty of space in both changing rooms to keep your distance from others

  • Masks will be required to be worn in the main building but not whilst you are working out

  • Free badminton, squash and tennis is also available as part of full gym membership, subject to the usual booking rules and specific stage by stage leisure guidelines.

  • The balcony cafe bar will also be re-open at this stage so you can obtain your free hot drink again. Click HERE so you are aware of any restrictions.

Group Exercise Classes

  • Please do not visit Lifelines if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19

  • Our class timetable has been revised for the time-being with some time and location changes. Click HERE to view the timetable

  • Please do not gather in groups of more than 6 before, during and after classes as the rule of 6 applies

  • You must book into any class you are attending so we can conform with track and trace requirements

  • Bookings will ideally be made online via our online bookings portal. You can also call reception on 01582 418873 opt.1. Members are able to book 14 days in advance, please let us know if you are not able to attend any booked slots or cancel online under the manage booking section once you've logged in

  • Yoga and Pilates will take place in the Riverside as much as possible to ensure social distancing occurs (subject to bookings).

  • Our studio cycling classes have been temporarily moved to the Juniper Suite as it is bigger. It will however still mean slightly lower capacity to ensure social distancing

  • Other classes will take place in the sports hall but in ½ the hall and not the usual ¼.

  • Limited equipment will be used during classes and members advised to bring their own stretch mat, however these will still be provided and cleaned after each use

  • Hand sanitiser and blue roll will be available at each class venue, no personal towels please.

  • Please respect other members by keeping your distance and cleaning up after yourself

Step 4 - Mon 21st June onwards

Removal of limits on social contact, gym and class life returns to normal! The re-opening of the Health Suite will be reviewed.

 

Visiting The Balcony cafe bar during COVID-19

Balcony cafe bar to re-open

General

  • Please check the current opening hours for this date period via the button​ near the top of this page

  • Please do not visit if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19

  • New layout in place to ensure good social distancing

  • The 'Rule of 6' or two households applies indoors

  • Larger groups up to 15 are permitted outdoors in our beer garden

  • Masks must be worn indoors until you are sat at your table

  • Table service only is permitted, please wait at your table for your order to be taken and brought to you.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available as you enter the main building and at various other points

  • Limited food offerings will be in place

Event Bookings

  • Providing we can ensure good social distancing with large enough space, weddings, receptions, funerals, and commemorative events including wakes can proceed with up to 30 attendees. A broader range of stand-alone life events will also be permitted at this step, including bar mitzvahs and christenings.

  • To book or enquire, please contact events on events@venue360.co.uk. Please be aware that staff are not fully back yet so emails will only be checked on a restricted basis.

Step 4 - Mon 21st June onwards

Removal of limits on social contact, whose round is it?!

The balcony bar will return to 'normal' opening hours

 

Events & conference bookings at Venue 360 during COVID-19

Riverside suite to re-open for small gatherings

Event Bookings

  • Providing we can ensure good social distancing with large enough space, weddings, receptions, funerals, and commemorative events including wakes can proceed with up to 30 attendees. A broader range of stand-alone life events will also be permitted at this step, including bar mitzvahs and christenings.

Step 4 - Mon 21st June onwards
