New gym layout to ensure good social distancing whilst exercising
Some equipment will have been placed elsewhere or in some cases put out of action to ensure social distancing can be maintained -
The rule of 6 no longer applies indoors, so you must only mix with your same household or social bubble

A temporary warm up / cool down area has been set up in our spin room (spinning currently taking place in the larger Juniper Suite)

A one-way system has been put in place so please enter as normal but follow the two exit options when leaving

Swiping in is essential when attending each time, so please have your membership card with you or ask and instructor to manually record your attendance.

Hand sanitiser will be available as you enter the main building and via various points around the gym

No towels will be permitted to be brought into the gym but plenty of blue roll will be available to use

Our water fountain will be in use but only for filling up water bottles, please bring a water bottle with you

Please respect other members by keeping your distance and cleaning / tidying up after using equipment

General advice is to come dressed for your workout and then shower afterwards at home. There will however be limited showers available on the ground floor for men (to ensure social distancing) and usual showers for the ladies, with plenty of space in both changing rooms to keep your distance from others

Our health suite will remain closed until all COVID-19 restrictions are removed

Unfortunately, no re-assesments, blood pressure checks etc. will be available until things ease further

Masks will be required to be worn in the main building but not whilst you are working out

Anybody without a DD set up and needing to pay for a month upfront before signing back up for DD will need to pay by card or apple pay, we will be operating a 'cashless' system

Free badminton, squash and tennis is also available as part of full gym membership, subject to the usual booking rules and specific tier 2 playing guidelines
Lifelines memberships

Membership will restart on Wednesday 2nd December 2020, unless we hear differently from you. (36-month members will need to contact DFC at email: info@debitfinance.co.uk).

We are treating lockdown as one whole month so those who last paid on 17th October will not be debited until 17th December and those who paid on the 1st November, will not be debited until 1st January 2021.

Annual members and 36-month members will have their membership extended by one month.

Anyone who has requested to suspend their membership previously will remain suspended until you inform us otherwise.
Group Exercise Classes

Our class timetable has been revised for the time-being with some time and location changes. Click HERE to view the timetable

You must book into any class you are attending so we can conform with track and trace requirements

Bookings will ideally be made online via our online bookings portal. You can also call reception on 01582 418873 opt.1. Members are able to book 14 days in advance, please let us know if you are not able to attend any booked slots or cancel online under the manage booking section once you've logged in

Yoga and Pilates will take place in the vacant Balcony bar as much as possible to ensure social distancing occurs but in a warmer environment.

Our studio cycling classes have been temporarily moved to the Juniper Suite as it is bigger. It will however still mean slightly lower capacity to ensure social distancing

Other classes will take place in the sports hall but in ½ the hall and not the usual ¼.

Limited equipment will be used during classes and members advised to bring their own stretch mat, however these will still be provided and cleaned after each use

Hand sanitiser and blue roll will be available at each class venue, no personal towels please.

Please respect other members by keeping your distance and cleaning up after yourself
