updated 26/11/2020

Lifelines Gym

  • Please do not visit Lifelines if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19

  • New gym layout to ensure good social distancing whilst exercising
Some equipment will have been placed elsewhere or in some cases put out of action to ensure social distancing can be maintained

  • The rule of 6 no longer applies indoors, so you must only mix with your same household or social bubble

  • A temporary warm up / cool down area has been set up in our spin room (spinning currently taking place in the larger Juniper Suite)

  • A one-way system has been put in place so please enter as normal but follow the two exit options when leaving

  • Swiping in is essential when attending each time, so please have your membership card with you or ask and instructor to manually record your attendance.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available as you enter the main building and via various points around the gym

  • Our opening hours are as follows, please click HERE to check times

  • No towels will be permitted to be brought into the gym but plenty of blue roll will be available to use

  • Our water fountain will be in use but only for filling up water bottles, please bring a water bottle with you

  • Please respect other members by keeping your distance and cleaning / tidying up after using equipment

  • General advice is to come dressed for your workout and then shower afterwards at home. There will however be limited showers available on the ground floor for men (to ensure social distancing) and usual showers for the ladies, with plenty of space in both changing rooms to keep your distance from others

  • Our health suite will remain closed until all COVID-19 restrictions are removed

  • Unfortunately, no re-assesments, blood pressure checks etc. will be available until things ease further

  • Masks will be required to be worn in the main building but not whilst you are working out

  • Anybody without a DD set up and needing to pay for a month upfront before signing back up for DD will need to pay by card or apple pay, we will be operating a 'cashless' system

  • Free badminton, squash and tennis is also available as part of full gym membership, subject to the usual booking rules and specific tier 2 playing guidelines

Lifelines memberships

  • Membership will restart on Wednesday 2nd December 2020, unless we hear differently from you. (36-month members will need to contact DFC at email: info@debitfinance.co.uk).

  • We are treating lockdown as one whole month so those who last paid on 17th October will not be debited until 17th December and those who paid on the 1st November, will not be debited until 1st January 2021.

  • Annual members and 36-month members will have their membership extended by one month.

  • Anyone who has requested to suspend their membership previously will remain suspended until you inform us otherwise.

Members are able to book 14 days in advance, please let us know if you are not able to attend any booked slots or cancel online under the manage booking section once you've logged in

  • Yoga and Pilates will take place in the vacant Balcony bar as much as possible to ensure social distancing occurs but in a warmer environment.

  • Our studio cycling classes have been temporarily moved to the Juniper Suite as it is bigger. It will however still mean slightly lower capacity to ensure social distancing

  • Other classes will take place in the sports hall but in ½ the hall and not the usual ¼.

  • Limited equipment will be used during classes and members advised to bring their own stretch mat, however these will still be provided and cleaned after each use
