Visiting Lifelines Health Club during COVID-19

Michael and his team have worked hard to provide a clean and safe environment for you to return to training. For the first 5-weeks of opening at least, the following will be in place:

Lifelines Gym

  • Please do not visit Lifelines if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19

  • New gym layout to ensure good social distancing whilst exercising
Some equipment will have been placed elsewhere or in some cases put out of action to ensure social distancing can be maintained

  • A temporary warm up / cool down area has been set up on one of our squash courts

  • A one-way system has been put in place so please enter as normal but follow the two exit options when leaving

  • Hand sanitiser will be available as you enter the main building and via various points around the gym

  • As per government instruction, a booking system for attending the gym has been put in place so we can keep control of attendance levels and help the NHS with track and trace. We are confident you should still get booked in when you want and there is no limit on bookings each day or week, you just cannot book two slots straight after each other

  • Bookings slots will be 60min sessions (plenty of time for a workout) so we can keep numbers to an acceptable level but still allow everyone an opportunity to train

  • Please click HERE to book your slots from Sat 1st August onwards. You can also call reception on 01582 418873 opt.1 from 9am on Monday 3rd August.

  • You are able to book 14 days in advance, please let us know if you are not able to attend any booked slots or cancel online under the manage booking section once you've logged in

  • Anyone without a current membership will not be able to book online

  • Opening hours have been slightly amended as we ease back into re-opening. Please click HERE to check times

  • No towels will be permitted to be brought into the gym but plenty of blue roll will be available to use

  • Our water fountain will be in use but only for filling up water bottles, please bring a water bottle with you

  • Please respect other members by keeping your distance and cleaning / tidying up after using equipment

  • Again, following government guidance, our showers, changing rooms and health suite will be out of use until further notice

  • Unfortunately, no re-assesments, blood pressure checks etc. will be available until things ease further

  • At present, masks will not be required to be worn indoors

  • Anybody without a DD set up and needing to pay for a month upfront before signing back up for DD will need to pay by card or apple pay, we will be operating a 'cashless' system

  • You will be pleased to know that the balcony cafe bar will be back open, so full members can claim their free hot drink as usual. Vouchers will be available from reception as normal. Please see balcony cafe bar page for guidance on using during COVID-19

  • Free badminton, squash and tennis is also available as part of full gym membership, subject to the usual booking rules and specific playing guidelines during COVID-19

Group Exercise Classes

  • Please do not visit Lifelines if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19

  • Our class timetable has been adjusted for the next 5 weeks with some time and location changes. Click HERE to view the timetable

  • Bookings will ideally be made online and our online bookings portal will be live again from Weds 22nd July. You can also call reception on 01582 418873 opt.1 on Fri 24th July 10:30-2:30pm or when we re-open from Saturday 25th July onwards.

  • You are able to book 14 days in advance, please let us know if you are not able to attend any booked slots or cancel online under the manage booking section once you've logged in

  • Yoga and Pilates will take place in the Riverside Suite throughout July and August to ensure social distancing occurs

  • Our studio cycling classes have been moved to the Juniper Suite as it is bigger. It will however still mean slightly lower capacity to ensure social distancing

  • Other classes will take place in the sports hall but in ½ the hall and not the usual ¼.

  • Limited equipment will be used during classes and members advised to bring their own stretch mat, however these will still be provided and cleaned after each use

  • Hand sanitiser and blue roll will be available at each class venue, no personal towels please.

  • Please respect other members by keeping your distance and cleaning up after yourself

  • Again, following government guidance, our showers and changing rooms will be out of use until further notice

  • Please do not gather in groups before and after classes

Further to the latest govt. and Luton Council instruction, Venue 360 are delighted to be opening on Monday 3rd August.
