Reserve a table in front of our big screen for Euro 24!

Euro 24 is fast approaching and expectations are justifiably high of England doing well. Yes we have had good teams in the past and we should have done better, but the talent at Gareth Southgate’s disposal going into this tournament feels better than ever… could this finally be our year???

Other than actually being at the games themselves, if it is to be England’s year, then there is no better place to watch it than with your family and friends and other fans than at Venue 360.

Our big screens will be showing as many games as possible throughout the tournament with the option this to reserve yourself a table for the England matches.

It will be £10 to reserve a table, with this amount given back to you with your first order at the bar. We will also be offering a loyalty scheme with those booking group matches, given first option on booking tables as the tournament progresses.

There will also be food and drink offers advertised on the day of England matches.

If you would like to reserve a table, please give us a call on 01582 418873 (option 1).

Ryan Completes Half Marathon

Congratulations to Lifelines member Ryan who completed a half marathon in his wheel chair recently in London. Ryanmanaged this in a time of 2 hours 30 minutes and is already looking forward to taking part in the up-and-coming St Albans half marathon. The hardest part of the challenge was putting up with the blisters on both hands that he obtained from a previous training session.

In other news...

Well done LTFC, including the fans!

Regardless of going back down, well done to everyone involved at Luton Town Football Club. The shear effort put in by the club and players to compete with the ‘big boys’ in the Premier league, has been nothing short of brilliant, no one gave them a chance but they have certainly gained plenty of admirers throughout the season.

We were very honoured recently, to again be the host venue for the Luton Town Supporters Trust end of season awards. This was their chance to show their appreciation to the players but they also should not under estimate the part they have played. The fans themselves have been incredible throughout the season, never a spare seat at home or away, always creating an amazing atmosphere.

Employee of the Month

This month we continue to celebrate our hardworking team by honouring a long standing and very popular member of staff. She has shown great loyalty and dedication to Venue 360 for many years. Always ready to welcome our customers and happy to help where ever she can. Many of you who visit us in the evenings will know who we are talking about immediately.

Kelly has been with us nearly three years and has always shown her ability to carry on despite not always feeling her best.

She continues to put a smile on the faces of many regulars and new customers alike, and as a team we all look forward to working with her. Her sense of humour and unwaivering ability to create a positive working environment makes working with Kelly an absolute pleasure.

May we enjoy many more years with you behind the Balcony Bar and the Riverside making us all laugh and giving us that one last push to complete a hard and heavy shift.

We thank you and appreciate your hard work. Congratulations Kelly.

Emry to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro

This month Emry will attempt to climb Kilimanjaro for charity! Emry has been training hard in the gym on a structured stamina and strength program in order to achieve this. Ems recently climbed to the top of Snowdon, dressed as a banana as part of her fundraising for this challenge. We wish her well and please donate if you can from the following link!

He was hoping to get a time of under 4 hours, It was all going to plan until he had severe cramps on Mile 17 which meant he had to limp / walk / jog the remaining 9 miles. He still completed it nevertheless! His time was 4 hours 47minutes. Mabs raised money for Curry Kitchen ( a project run by Community Interest Luton), well done Mabs!

Exercise of the month!

Cable Donkey Kicks

Why not try this very effective isolated exercise targeting the hamstrings, using the single or double cable. The trick to this exercise is once the ankle strap is securely place on, to get the tension when the toe is touching the floor and slowly squeeze the heel up to the bum before returning. Don’t go too heavy as correct technique is paramount to this exercise, also please see an instructor for a demonstration.

Looking to start playing tennis or getting back into playing?

Our group adult tennis sessions have been running throughout the year on our indoor tennis courts and have become that popular that we have now added an additional Thursday session to the programme. Tennis coach Paul Heaphy has built up a great following of players, with these 6-7 week courses proving to be very popular. Our latest courses will run for 7-weeks, starting from Wednesday 5th June and Thursday 6th June respectively.

BEGINNERS – Each Wednesday, 5th June - 17th July 8:30-9:30pm

This adult tennis coaching course is very much for players who are completely new to tennis and would like to get started.

Throughout the 7 weeks you will learn the basic techniques and rules with the aim of eventually moving up to our improvers course next time around (may need to repeat before moving up in some cases).

IMPROVERS – Each Wednesday, 5th June - 17th July 7:30-8:30pm or each Thursday, 6th June - 18th July 8-9pm

These sessions are the next stage after attending our beginners courses or for adults that have played previously and can hold a rally. Your aim after a few courses will be to progress onto joining our tennis club or playing regularly with friends on a PAYG basis.

Prices for all 7 weeks are £56 for members and £63 for non-members.

Visit and book online or call reception on 01582 418873 (opt.1).

Missed the first week? Don’t worry, providing there is still space on the course, you can join part way through and just pay for the remaining weeks.

The club have had previous success before with both Kayla and Charm making it all the way and getting the chance to play at Wimbledon
