Sacha’s Mighty Hike for Macmillan

Our receptionist Sacha is taking on a 26-mile Mighty Hike along the Gower Peninsula this June, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Sacha was inspired to take part after losing her dad in 2025 following a five-year battle with cancer. The support her family received from Macmillan’s palliative care team made a lasting difference, and now she’s giving back to help others facing similar challenges.
Sacha’s aiming to raise £250 - every donation will help ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
Read Sacha’s story in her own words and support her fundraising:
"In September 2025 my dad passed away after a 5-year battle with Cancer. The Paleative care team were there to help and I am not sure how I would have got through it without them.
On June 27th I’m taking on the Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike, a 26-mile hike along part of the coastal path of South Wales near where my dad lived prior to coming to stay with me and Harvey. I will be pushing my limits to raise £250 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, because no one should have to face cancer alone.Today, almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer, a figure that's growing steadily. Macmillan’s goal is to be there from diagnosis through every step of the journey. That’s where we come in.Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that no one has to face cancer without the care, compassion, and expert support they deserve.Together, we can make a Mighty difference.
Many thanks,
Sacha"
